Cold and dark!?!? I am always amazed at how little many Americans know about Canada. We have cloudy and overcast days like anyone else, but unless you live within the Arctic circle, our daylight is just as regular as in California. And speaking of California, there are, in fact, places in Canada that are farther south than the most northern points in California. I live in Canada and happen to be located south - yes, you read that correctly - south - of Detroit.

Please don’t make Canada sound so scary. We may have cons (the dollar value, for example) but there are many things that make this country much greater than we often get credit for.
